Etan Muskat is an award-winning writer and actor based in Toronto, Canada.

His comedy pilot CONSUME is a Screencraft Fellowship Winner, it was optioned in 2024 and is currently in development.

He has written for or been a part of the development of a number of television projects at CBC, Story 9, Corus/Nelvana and Nickelodeon, Meridian Talent, as well at a gaming studio now owned by Electronic Arts.

Etan is the Artistic Director of Second City Toronto.

He is a co-creator and director of the hit web series The Bitter End, which was given national media coverage upon its release. He is currently collaborating with his partner, novelist Fiona King Foster, on an adaptation of her debut novel The Captive (Ecco Press) which has been optioned by the actor Josh Bowman / March Forth Media.

Etan also has over a decade of experience as a comedy teacher and writing coach, helping emerging writers realize their projects and hone their voices.
