Paper Mill Playhouse’s holiday show is Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, adapted from the 1954 movie starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen.
Stepping into the role played by Danny Kaye is Paper Mill alumnus Casey Garvin, who graciously took time to answer a few questions for Out in Jersey.
How does it feel to be back at Paper Mill Playhouse after appearing here in Peter Pan in 2010?
First of all, working at Paper Mill is such an honor.

They produce great work and the theater has such a rich history, plus close proximity to NYC, which makes it such a desired job for many theater professionals. But on a personal note, my very first professional job was at Paper Mill Playhouse as Nana the Dog and in the ensemble of Peter Pan in 2010 when I was 17 years old, so to be returning for the first time as a leading man is amazingly full circle.
